Covers galore update. I have recorded a handful of covers on my reel. They are:
Josh Groban – You Raise Me Up =#1 hit on adult contemporary Billboard chart in 2003 and produced by David Foster.
The Beatles – Yesterday – One of my favorite songs by the Beatles about lost love from yesterday by legendary writers McCartney and Lennon.
Sting – Every Breathe You Take – #1 song of the 1980s which won two Grammys.
Louis Armstrong – What a Wonderful World – Hailed as one of the greatest songs written.
Backstreet Boys – As Long As You Loved Me – Max Martin is one of my all time favorite pop writers and producers. His music defined and created the careers of the Backstreet Boys.
N Sync – This I Promise You – Richard Marx wrote another ballad masterpiece and launched N Sync through the charts in 1999.
Ne-Yo – So Sick Preview – Ne-Yo is an incredibly talented song writer. I will complete this song about heartache when I get the chance.
I have hit 40 songs with my repertoire. My goal is to have approximately 100 recorded by the end of this year before the start of 2015 wedding season. I just love melodies in songs and nothing is more exciting to live for. *Ends hippie artist rant*
